Summerhouse is an indie folk rock duo from Sale, Greater Manchester, made up of two close mates—Tom (main songwriter) and Gabe (lead singer). They started Summerhouse with a shared passion for creating music that feels honest, vulnerable, and emotionally resonant. Their songs dive into themes like love, escapism, and the struggles we all face, delivered in a way that’s raw, thoughtful, and deeply human.
What started as stripped-back acoustic sessions in the summerhouse-where all their writing still happens—has evolved into something bigger. Their sound now blends that intimate, folk-inspired core with a full-band energy that’s cinematic and powerful, without ever losing its heart.
With two singles out and a growing catalogue of unreleased tracks that have been met with incredible early feedback, Summerhouse have now built a live backing band and are stepping confidently onto the Manchester scene—with eyes on stages beyond.
